Katrina Howes: Drawer

In 2003 I found a love of drawing when I started drawing trees, huts and old buildings in the front lounge at home after being shown a few basic techniques by a friend. Initially I taught myself to draw in black and white using blacklead pencils. Currently I am experimenting with colour pastel pencils as well.

I was a member of the Sunbury Art Society for a while and participated in two group exhibitions with them.

My current studio is a dedicated room within our house, and I am glad it’s mine.
