About

The Gallery Mt Macedon can be found in the small village of Mt Macedon high on the southern slopes of the mountain.

It is situated behind the church, down the laneway alongside The Trading Post Cafe.

Within the picturesque setting of tall gums and established gardens of the mount, The Gallery is a perfect place to visit, spending a little time exploring the wonderful art from the Macedon Ranges.

The Gallery has been a feature in the region for over fifteen years and continues to provide a fantastic range of exhibitions from, not only the gallery collective members, but a host of visiting artists who display their works on a monthly basis in the Focus Room exhibition space.

The collective artists of TGMM are all locals and demonstrate a vast array of skills and media types in their works. One of them is on duty each day.

A visit at any season will astound; snow lovers adore mid Winter days, wild flower hunters love walking in Spring, travellers needing a cool respite stroll the gardens/lake/reserves in Summer and Autumn photographers soak up the glorious colour everywhere.

Close by are places to pick up a tasty lunch including The Trading Post out front, and only a short distance away on the summit of the mount, is the cafe Top of the Range.

And for garden lovers, just next door is Stephan Ryan’s, Dicksonia rare plants nursery.
