Sue is a Mt. Macedon printmaker but she also paints (usually abstracts) with various mediums. Her recent printmaking has involved relief printmaking using monochrome linocut and linocut colour reduction methods. However, Sue also does intaglio printmaking using aluminium and copper plates, preferring the drypoint technique.
Sue’s prints will sometimes be finished with hand painting using ink or watercolour. Many of Australia’s flora and fauna, especially local, will be subjects as well as still-life and abstract images. Sue particularly likes the dramatic effect of monochrome printmaking.
