Marianne’s love of glass began as a child when she received a glass paperweight as a gift.  However it wasn’t until many years later that she attended glass fusing classes in Melbourne followed by lampworking classes.  Shortly after the classes, Marianne purchased a kiln and other necessary lampworking equipment enabling her to set up a small home based studio.  Thus began a love of working with warm glass.  Since then, Marianne has begun to explore the many endless possibilities that warm glass offers, trying new techniques, attending workshops with international lampwork tutors and generally having fun playing with glass.
