Robyn P Clarke: Painter, Ceramicist

Robyn P Clarke is a much-exhibited painter and ceramicist whose formal art education was at the East Sydney Technical College (National Art School), where she later gained a Masters in Printmaking. She has had major exhibitions in both Melbourne and Sydney. Her most recent art features expressionistic landscapes.


She was part of the avant-garde ceramic art scene in Melbourne and exhibited at Roar Studios in Fitzroy. Her works featured at the Stuart Gerstman Gallery Hawthorn, Distelfink Gallery Hawthorn and Joan Gould Gallery, South Yarra. Recent painting exhibitions have been at the Woodbine Gallery in Malmsbury.


In Sydney she exhibited at the Holdsworth Galleries in Woollahra, and Barry Stern and Harris Courtin in Paddington .

She has been Craft Critic for The Age newspaper in Melbourne, and appears in the  Dictionary of Australian Women Artists (editor Max Germaine). Her work is in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Victoria and the Geelong Art Gallery.
